I am Sonti Nagaraju, a proud representative of the Backward Classes (BC) community and a committed leader of the Indian National Congress party in Andhra Pradesh. I come from a humble BC background and have dedicated over 15 years of my life to public service, social justice, and community empowerment..

Currently, I serve as the State OBC Chairman of the Congress Party under the dynamic leadership of YS Sharmila Reddy Garu, whose vision for an inclusive and empowered Andhra Pradesh inspires me every day. I am also the long-serving President of the Andhra Pradesh State BC Sangam, leading several movements and initiatives for the upliftment of the SC, ST, Minorities, EWS and BC communities..

Fight for Houses

Land Justice for the Poor – "Sonti Nagaraju Colony"

Fought for rightful land allocation in Tarugumula after 15 years of delay—led petitions and a pre-dawn protest at the Collector’s home, resulting in 4.5 acres granted for BC housing.

In honor of this victory, the colony was named “Sonti Nagaraju Colony”, a symbol of struggle and justice.
